Eugenia Papadopoulos, MOT, OTR/L, CHT is the founder and owner of Karpathia Hand Therapy, OT, P.C. and formerly the Director of Recovery Hand Therapy.
She achieved the prestigious Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential in 2001. Eugenia graduated from New York University in 1992, where she earned her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. In 1995, she earned her Advanced Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from New York University, where she was Awarded a Federal Technology Grant. Additionally, she completed the certificate program in Hand and Upper Quarter Rehabilitation at MCP Hahnemann University, Philadelphia, PA.
Eugenia keeps abreast of new trends in the profession by shadowing numerous top Orthopaedic and Plastic hand surgeons in major Manhattan hospitals and in their private practices. She attends numerous continuing education courses throughout the year, reads hand surgery and hand therapy journals, is a contributing author for the literature review section in the Journal of Hand Therapy, has guest lectured to students at Dominican College, and to nurses at the New York Stock Exchange.
Her professional affiliations include the American Societyof Hand Therapists (ASHT) and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
